A Bit About Dr Lucy Kozlowski

Dr Lucy Kozlowski has undertaken extensive doctoral & post-doctoral training, research & clinical practice in the field of clinical health psychology. She has undertaken several senior executive clinical & leadership positions in the NHS & private practice, leading on the design, development & delivery of highly specialist psychological interventions, care pathways & clinical services.  Further, Dr Kozlowski has undertaken research in the fields of staff & student wellbeing, aesthetic surgery, neuropsychology, diabetes, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, IBS, chronic fatigue and neurological conditions. 

With over 15 years of research & clinical experience designing, developing & leading services, Dr Kozlowski is a specialist in supporting children & adults with: 

  • Physical Health Conditions (Long Term Health Conditions)  (e.g. chronic pain, fatigue, long covid, POTS, respiratory conditions, obesity, sleep issues, IBS, cardiac conditions, type 1 & type 2 diabetes, menopause, FND, tinnitus, hyperacusis, misophonia, trichotillomania, neurological conditions e.g. Parkinsons, MS, stroke, brain injury)​​

Dr Kozlowski strives to offer a warm, compassionate, empathic & safe space to explore difficulties & build on strengths from. Her therapeutic approach draws from a range of models including third wave CBT, family & couples (systemic) therapy, community psychology, person-centred counselling & coaching approaches. Sessions offer an emotional processing & reflective space as well as a skills-building component to aid with developing techniques & tools to manage emotional distress & physical health symptoms.
